things that happened
a couple things that happened which i should remember ...
one night my friend was sad about a girl, and i listened to him for a long time, then i told him to change his socks, and i gave him a nice warm pair of socks to put on. and i told him to keep the socks.
one day i was walking along a sidewalk in hilversum and a man appeared round the corner pushing a two-wheeler hand-truck full of vegetables. as he made the turn, somehow the hand-truck slipped in the wetness (it had just rained torrentially) -- and everything tumbled on to the sidewalk. i stopped and helped him pick up the onions. the broccolli he said he could handle himself. then i continued on to my appointment at the sound studio.
today pani helped me clean my apartment. and she is en route with mihal now to try and buy me a new desk.
ajw arrives tomorrow morning.
