money is blood
people need to remember that money is like blood.
when you keep too much of it pooled in one place in the body, the body gets sick. but when it flows, good things happen.
the use of money is to do things with. it's a uniquely cool way of moving value around, changing energy from one form to another. to me the money means one thing, to the guy i pay next it means something else. even though it's an abstract, money can transport all kinds of significance. that's what's so cool about money.
as long as you keep it moving.
unfortunately a lot of people have fallen for this fear-based notion that you're just supposed to *collect* as much money as you can, and let go as little as possible. they're uncomfortable with the idea of becoming old and obsolete and dying poor and alone. so they don't trust. they don't like the idea of being as powerless as they really are in the world. so they hoard.
i suppose it's okay if a few sick people feel that way. but when everybody comes to think like that, the idea goes epidemic, and that's not healthy at all. in my lifetime it seems like every ten years or so we have some kind of worldwide economic panic, and everybody shuts down and the circulation gets cramped.
i already said this years ago, but i don't think anybody heard me.
