re-built
last few days i rebuilt the instrumentarium (paris) web site as a non-flash thing. no small challenge, i'm such an amateur at php.
also i've become fascinated with a woman from south hadley, massachusetts, who became nearly famous w youtube, for a complex of reasons. too hard to explain. what a story, i wish i could make a documentary. strange side-lightning, she's also a born emersonian, and sounds worried about whether she'll be accepted at emerson. her boyfriend is amazing too. somebody needs to film these people.
when i was back in boston my brother asked me if i'd reached any epiphanies about being there. (ie, might i wanna move back to the states or do i wanna stay here after i get my verblijfsvergunning voor onbepaalde tijd (wish wish).) i guess the only major enlightenment i could claim so far, is that i didn't cry when i got home to amsterdam, and that boston's really not *that* far away. i might go to boston a couple of times in the next few months anyway, especially seeing all the coming work for the people in bedford. that relationship is getting more complicated, i feel i am becoming too important.
speaking of projects: no word back from djox i hope he is okay.
tonight i was trying to explain to nicole that i believe in the bi-directionality of causation, but can only explain one of the two directions (the entropic one). her point of view seems to be that all of it exists "simultaneously" but i shouldn't put words in her mouth. she and kees and i exchanged stories of universe-skipping. kees of course being the more hard-headed "scientist" among us. vincent was sitting off to the side, kinda staring at the bottles behind the bar, waiting. he seems like a pretty patient fella to me.
nicole and vincent are going to croatia tomorrow for a couple of weeks. actually a lot of people are on vacation. many of them came here, cuz of the "homofeest" over the past weekend. which is why there have been so many thousands of people around whom i don't recognize.
oh by the way: miss b is now mrs w. she got married and changed her name! she and hans are working hard on fixing their house.
