what virtual reality is
last night i went to see some of my coworkers at a big pool-hall on lansdown street called jillians. downstairs there is a miniature golf club, and in a side room there are cutting edge video games. and in a prominent place. up on an elevated stage, they have a virtual reality game setup. i have never seen a vr game in person before, only on tv. seeing it in real life gives you a whole different way of looking at it.
i said to my friends, “virtual reality is when you put on a funny hat and act like you don't know where you are.”
