confused man climbing on palace
yesterday a "confused" man was climbing around on the statues at the top of the palace in the dam. he got in there and climbed up somehow because security was lax during the renovations. the police somehow talked him down and got him to climb down on a ladder. people in the square below applauded. the news said the man was well known to the psychiatric profession in amsterdam, and that last year he was found climbing around up on the westertoren. i think they said his name was "toon".
