cost of grain and glass
the farmers' union complains that supermarkets and bakers are profiteering from the rise in grain costs. they say the price of a loaf of bread has gone up about twice as much as it should have, based on the grain cost increase alone.
meanwhile, drink producers complain that glass producers have created an artificial shortage to drive glass prices up, so that drink companies are running into financial problems.
now i'm going to have to tell my clients that due to the rising cost of bread and booze, the cost of marketing films must increase by 15 percent. bummer man.
