i'm sitting waiting for this intercity train for amersfoort to depart. but it looks very different, more like an international train, with numbered seats and separate cabins etc. i said to a man in a bright green vest, "mijnheer is dit wel de trein voor amersfoort?" and he nodded. so i guess he must be right, right? it is spoor 14 a after all.
10.10 en route through foggy flatlands ...
i remember in the 1980s i never had the feeling that i should be able to concentrate on more than one thing at a time. that feeling came on during the late 90s. celphones, multitasking and fragmentation of attention ...
11.00, the sun through the fog a pale disc barely 30 degrees above the horizon (of frosty light green farmland and black tree lace).
12.55 -- on the train back to amersfoort from barneveld
it takes a little over 20 min to walk from cvv's factory to the train platform at barneveld noord. now i'm riding the connexxion valleijlijn back to amersfoort.
14.17 on stationplein amsterdam
it's very foggy today, nicolaskerk tower disappearing. i await the 13.
18.45 -- now i am waiting at soundgarden for possible hg and djox and marina. i haven't been here in a long time. "budels" bier, pint for eur 3,40.
