what i would have missed if i were 18 now
was just thinking about that 18-year-old i'm tragically attracted to. starcrossed by mean time. if i were her age now, then i'd have been born in 1990. which means i would have totally missed ronald reagan, protesting the contra war, and seeing nina hagen play out at the continental in buffalo NY.
but in a way it's kinda nice to be tragically attracted again. it feels like being me. i guess this means that even when i was 18, i was already 50.
