on friday pani and i were filming a project for H right here at jk's house, and in the back garden where the cherry tree is blossoming. micheline was the actor, she did great. i was very happy with pani's art direction, how the dress matched the cherry blossoms etc. i think it all went quite well. and i got to try out my new manfrotto tripod that i bought last monday at foto fransen. that's a pretty handy thing. not quite as smooth as a sachtler, but much lighter, cheaper, faster and more flexible.
one of the strangest sequences was of the woman sitting at the table while someone pours her a glass of wine. she ignores the pouring as it goes on and on, spilling over the edge of the glass and down the stem and across the white tablecloth, seeping toward her hand. pretty surreal.
overnight i used my new raid-5 system for capture and editing, no problems so far. dvr installed the raid system last tuesday night, and i have been busy copying all my media files to it. it has a capacity of about 5,5 terabytes of which i've filled up 2,1 TB.
on 07 may i need to fly to boston again for 10 days. i'm hoping to shoot my "booboo agogo" clip before i leave.
