a good day
i had a good day today. i think friends are miracles, i'm glad they are there. pani helped me sort the final color correction. then we went to eat thai food at the "bird" on zeedijk. i had the tom ka kai soup and the ken kyou wan kai. lots of elbows but good food. after pausing at that little cafe on zeedijk where the lady was sitting all along waiting for some one to show up, we went to mulligans, and dvr brought me that final 1 TB drive i need to stick in my raid system. jk and marina and christina showed up -- a really nice costa rican lady who connected me with her italian photographer friend in amsterdam-noord who may have a small studio i can cheaply rent for my shoot next saturday. then marina and i went to soundgarden and met up with djox, and he and i discussed the merits of the movie "crash" versus another called "babel" which i haven't seen. while we were at soundgarden, we met someone named nina, a friend of one of marina's haircutting clients, who has the same birthday as marina and is also from bulgaria like her. nina came with us to the cave. then it was time for me to go home. i walked nina to where she lives in the jordaan then i walked home.
yesterday i was sad and bummed out and pessimistic. i was better today. a week from saturday i need to shoot the booboo agogo film, somehow we think it is gonna happen. must have faith, cuz i'm short on cash.
footsteps upstairs, i think this means my huisgenoot got home safe.
