zac efron
i saw on kh's blog that some computer out there thinks kh looks like a kid named zac efron. i dunno who that is. but people concerned about the privacy invasions of face-recognition software may breathe a sigh of relief.
last night i had a dinner meeting with jab. i wanna hire him for some consulting time in exchange for some money he owes me for a script. after he left i sat at the bar drinking strong coffee and reading chapter 11 of a paperback bhagavad gita (the part where krishna reveals what he really looks like to arjuna). then after a while pk and rob p showed up, having driven from allston / somerville, and we hung out by the "fire pit" in the courtyard. both of them smoked a couple of cigarettes from me. pk was actually alternating between nicotine gum and sjekkies, which looked a little scary to me. about an hour before closing time at the bar, rob started telling us a really long story about walking up a hill in salzburg smelling fresh-baked bread that wasn't there, and hearing bundles of sticks dropped behind him by demon soldiers. he finished telling about half an hour after the bar had closed. i thanked him for having saved me the price of renting a movie from the hotel VOD.
this morning my client came to have breakfast with me at jazztown and we talked about all kinds of things. mostly about how i'm gonna intensify my relationship with them, and what kinds of obstacles we need to overcome to do what we wanna do. i made a date to phone her every friday morning from now on.
got a call from cvv the stairs guy, he wants an mp3 of the soundtrack from "dream flight" to play on his itunes. also he says his entire company has switched to using macintoshes, except (ironically) the design dept who are on autocad. it's unusual for me to hear of a business converting from PC to apple -- what's this world coming to?
ok i need to pack my bag now and check out of jazztown in about an hour, then hang around in the lobby for one more hour cuz bruce is gonna come fetch me for lunch. then he's supposedly gonna take me to logan airport. flying out tonight at 19.00 for amsterdam.
