strange mail shit
about using the wireless networks at the hotel and at H:
i'd become convinced that something was just set up wrong in my computer so i could not use mail.app to work directly with my mail server at jaap's. but then for a while last night (thursday night) mail.app was working perfectly with the mail server, just like back home. all quick and drag-n-drop and fill-in-the-names etc. then this morning again it wasn't synchronizing. so i wonder what's up with that, why it works sometimes. i wonder if it could just be a traffic-level thing, like how much bandwidth is needed.
