never o'clock
cloudy afternoon. a circle of picnic tables under a rustic pavillion. food and beer keeps on coming. the amount of meat is a little overwhelming. eventually some of the ranconki want some pizza instead. the father, who's already quite tipsy, is thinking of taking his kids to a pizza place. but instead marek orders something like 16 pizzas for delivery, and refuses to let anyone help pay for it.

then meaning to say nine o'clock (neuf heures) she said "never o'clock" which sounded like a good time to me.
