another old wwii bomb found
de volkskrant says that yesterday in vijfhuizen (in haarlemmermeer), some people were preparing a field for raising tulips. buried in the earth they found yet another unexploded bomb from the second world war. on wednesday the "explosives cleanup commando" is supposed to dismantle it, hoping it doesn't blow up while they're busy. so um like remind me to refrain from digging in this country.
and oh yeah, a 25-year-old guy from utrecht had a serious mooning accident the other night. he and some friends were displaying their asses against the window of a bar, and when the window broke he couldn't get out of the way fast enough, so he has serious injuries to his "achterwerk". de volkskrant reports that the man "was surprised."
on saturday i went to dinner at m & m's place, she fed us steak and potatoes and i got to see their baby who is just a little over one year old now.
i think it was sunday night i saw one of the "onion" news videos on kh's blog, then i went to watch about a hundred of their other clips. i think my favorite was about concentric circles.
pani returned monday night from poland. i haven't seen her yet but we talked on the phone. also today i got cold-called by another guy who wants me to make a very special movie about his company.
this morning i sent a proposal to my main client, to do six major things for them as a creative guy before the end of september.
meanwhile i feel like i'm running a fever or something. the air lately is thick and humid. i've been waking up feeling like i have a hangover, even without any drinking the night before.
and tonight i have an appointment to go see hg.
