my café life is not at full power
i finished compositing the film "a wedding in sanok" tonight and left after midnight to go to the cave. as i was leaving, my phone rang and it was my beloved, telling me how her days have been lately. we finished talking just as the drawbridge at postjesweg went back down and the boom raised. because of the hour, and my poverty, i just walked all the way to the cave and back.
at the cave i saw djox. a woman named els was playing the music, i liked most of what she played. also aram had a petition about the smoking ban, so i signed on behalf of the small clubs and bars. i had two beers then walked home again. at least i got some exercise.
two friends of mine have had a fling together. now that seems to be over, and they're worried about how hard it will be to go back to just being friends.
also, a 29-year-old woman died of a heart attack in amsterdam, and we're not sure why. friend of a friend of a friend.
i'm afraid i'm gonna die soon myself. not *too* afraid, but kinda afraid. i mean, it has to be scary right?
tonight there were more episodes of "city of men" on BBC 2. i know it's a little naive but i like watching that show. djox thinks he can get me the whole series.
some people are planning to go tomorrow to the roots festival in oosterpark. i think i will skip it, avoid the crowds.
right now i am rendering different size versions of the sanok film, then i need to export some h264s for uploading.
it's starting to grow light outside, and it's starting to rain.
