i found all 35 articles of impeachment against george w bush published on dennis kucinich's site.
makes for some hefty reading. i figured out how to save it as a pdf so i could save it for posterity. cuz the accusations will probably disappear for 20 or 30 years, until bush gets pinochet'd (after he's too old to keep from wetting himself).
kucinich announced the resolution in congress last week. the democrats voted it away to a committee, apparently fearing that it would harm their public image if they pursued it. ironically the republicans wanted to debate it right away. the dems are wimping out about this because bush is leaving office anyway soon, ie, why bother? for political convenience they're willing to consider bush's high treason just water under the bridge.
in case anyone thinks treason too strong a word: sorry. it's my feeling that since he took office at the beginning of 2001, bush has done nothing but make life more dangerous for his compatriots. i've said that before.
this makes me wonder: if impeaching the guy is pointless, could all those american citizens around the world who feel their lives were jeopardized by george w bush, each file a civil suit against him for reckless endangerment? i don't spose any lawyers are reading this, but ...
