returned from chautauqua

oh well. this morning got home to boston at 7am after a long drive back from chautauqua lake. waited in aj's car outside rule broadcast to return some brick batteries, just happened to be that zbigniew was gonna be there to meet someone else anyway, so we lucked out. then i heard from eric fiedler who had called sunday, after i'd been vividly thinking of him and telling aj about him saturday night, and even drew a picture of him at the bar in chautauqua.
saw a book called "depression" or "understanding depression" in the osco drugstore and thought that would be a really faux pas birthday gift for one person to give another.
today i heard, from d, who had seen it on TV somewhere, that there are lots of juveniles lately throwing rocks from highway bridges, causing accidents that paralyze people for life. blunt force trauma. one wonders why they do it. she said some people just enjoy hurting other people, it's like revenge for whoever hurt them.
