one more tournedos before i gos
i'm sitting outside nw, it's nice out so i can smoke here. i got most of what i needed to bring with me. still some files to copy at home, and i should write that letter to the lawrence city clerk. a gypsy band is playing the rplein teras. i saw nico riding a motor scooter back and forth along reguliersdwarsstraat as if he were test driving it, but maybe it's his. quite a few tourists wandering about today. the albert heijn in koningsplein was jammed.
i've been working on writing the "things i remember", focusing mainly on childhood. some recent revelations made me alter my story. like finding out i was preceded by a child who died at birth, carol ann.
this time tomorrow i'll be somewhere over the north atlantic. looking forward to it, not.
