went to my niece's wedding, then to a birthday party
pani came with me to my niece's wedding at the church in magnolia. while we were waiting for everyone to come in to the church, i found a hymn in the hymnal book, #436, titled "As Pants the Deer (for Cooling Streams)". it made me smile to think of pants and deer. speaking of pants, werkmanspaleis, nieuwendijk.
the wedding reception happened at "ocean view" by the rocky seaside in gloucester, same place where in 1994 we had my mom's memorial party after she died.
from there, some people named margot and steve amazingly volunteered to drive me and pani all the way from gloucester to haverhill, where we attended soundman tom's 50th birthday party. jab's band played.
