dinner at ddk
16.56 sitting in dmf's kitchen smoking a shag at the counter. jude is in his jude cabinet -- he opens the door with his paw and climbs in there to sleep for hours, avoiding getting messed with by carla the dog. we're going to ddk's house soon for dinner.
later -- evening. i take a look at the interior and ask "have you guys been in a magazine yet?" beautiful place, great surfaces everywhere, even the kitchen floor which just looks like stained concrete, is beautiful.
greg and cage show up. ddk plays some of his songs, including "the eternal return of the same". wants me to help him make his web site to promote his music.
sad: ddk and karen both say ming teh (formerly known as "the best chinese restaurant in the world" has changed ownership and is not worth the trip to eat there any more. and that the original owners have returned to china.
