checking picture frames
it's now 02.12 eastern time. early this evening there was a knock at the door of my hotel room, and a man with a clipboard said he needed to check the picture frames in my room. it was just a safety regulation, he said. he walked around my little suite touching all the pictures on the walls, which frankly i'd never paid much attention to before (they're mostly images of birds and blooms). after about 30 seconds he left again, and i heard him knock on another door down the corridor.
now i want to go check the statistics for hotel fatalities caused by falling art prints.
in unrelated news, i found out tonight that the star of "booboo agogo" actually "totally loved it". i had assumed she hated it (as my buddy vinz did) cuz i never heard booboo from her about what she thought of the film.
