i checked out of hometown, couchsurfing at irving street until i fly out (we hope) on sunday. this evening we hung out with doug at "the hill" pub which is ironically down the hill rather than up the hill. i had a nice time. tomorrow i want to start an account at [bank which will give me an account even though i don't live here]. and do some laundry.
america's going freakin crazy about this election stuff. or at least, the tv people are.
i'm sposed to be couchsurfing but unfortunately the hostess has crashed on the couch. maybe i'll go crash on one of the cats. not sure which one to pick, the gray one is softer but the bundt-cake colored one is plumper.
