amanda fox is no more
when i lived in allston, i got to know several of my neighbors in the building at 153 brighton avenue. jenny lived across the hall from me. amanda fox lived at the end of the hall. pete and rob lived across on the other side of the building. after jenny left for virginia, amanda moved to las vegas and worked for her parents' printing company. rob moved to a different part of allston, and pete moved to somerville, and i moved to amsterdam.
jenny wrote today to tell me that amanda died yesterday. in a las vegas hospital. due to complications from a disease called marfans. it's just over a year ago that amanda went into the hospital for a quick heart operation that would make her much better, but instead she had a bad heart attack during the operation, and was a long time trying to recover. finally i guess she did not.
also this week, a man asked jenny to marry him. jenny was pleasantly surprised.
tonight after work, chico came over to hang with us at the house. with me and marina and djox. chico has been going through a rough time. it was good that he came over.
