mouse problem
i'm having a mouse problem. not the flesh-n-blood kind. i haven't heard them in the ceiling lately. maybe they've been driven off by the vibrations from the construction upstairs. no i mean the plastic kind.
i remember when a mouse was a mechanical thing with a heavy rubber-coated ball inside it, and when it got dirty you could just unscrew the retainer to clean it with a cloth. the mouse i have now, i picked up a few months ago at the apple store in burlington massachusetts. instead of a mechanical ball it has a little red light on the underside, and instead of a scroll wheel it has a tiny trackball on top, which lets you scroll in four directions, north south east and west. cool. once i got used to that i really found it handy. now its north rotor has jammed or something, so i can scroll everywhere but up. that's pesky. i would consider trying to crack it open to see what jammed it, but i have no clue how to open this one. maybe once i get paid i'll just go to the shop try to buy another of the same mouse, and hope it lasts longer. or maybe i should just subscribe to mouse-of-the-month club.
my friend ot in italy says she has found a boy she likes to look at, and likes to have him look at her, and doesn't really feel the need to speak to him much. sometimes it's nice just to look at someone you like.
