will hide again
it's been very cold lately, unusually cold for winter in amsterdam as i remember.
yesterday i made some progress with sample animations for the "internet happens" movie. then i decided i wanted to go eat part of a cow. so i took the 14 in to rembrandtplein and went to nachtwacht. marina joined me as she got off work. after dinner we went to mulligan's and hung out with kh for a bit. then we went to the cave. it was quiet there. we stayed pretty late. i'm not sure why time passes quicker at the cave than in other parts of the universe. regardless what time you walk in, a few minutes later it's 3 in the morning.
i got up at about 7 this morning (met de passende kater dus) cuz i wanted to go meet pani at schiphol as she returned from poland. we had a coffee verkeerd there, and waited for bazek to arrive from belfast about an hour later. i was happy to see him again, so was pani. then we all grabbed a taxi, first to drop them off at the monastery, then home and straight to bed for collins.
tonight i put together a scratch soundtrack for victor's movie, including a scratch voiceover i read myself. i think it will help me put together a convincing sample.
tomorrow evening is oud/nieuw, after which it will, if we're lucky, be 2009. i am planning to hide from the bombs here in the kelder. which means maybe i should run out during the day and grab some beer and tobacco and something to eat.
