tiny snow
last night i went for a while to mulligan's because it was dh's verjaardag. there were some friends of hers including people i know and people i don't. later paul and joyce came out. the "tennessee studs" were playing, doing american country music and some bluegrass, with impeccable tennessee-like accents. after a while it got so crowded that i started to get it nauw, and had to leave.
i didn't sleep much. i woke up at about 04.30 i think. a few minutes ago i went upstairs and opened the little window in the front door to smell the air, and noticed that it was snowing tiny snow. a couple of men were walking by on the opposite side of the street, but i couldn't see them too well because i had my computer glasses on. the wind chimes hanging from gt's place were jangling just slightly. it's still dark at seven in the morning now, but the afternoons stay light longer, more like five or six.
so i turned on the fishlight and fed the fish, and saw something unexpected -- there's a small fish that doesn't move much. it resembles the big sucker fish (which is almost a foot long now), which also doesn't move much, but it's a different color, more orangish than black. i asked myself, could the big fish have had a child? if so, who is the father? is this another case of ictheous immaculate conception?
