weird auditory
i thought i should write this down before i forget:
tonight i went to panama with the a1e camera and filmed three metal bands, seta (sp?), demia and cilice. it didn't occur to me that maybe because i would spend so much time near the front speakers, i should wear some ear protection.
when i hear myself say a sentence with letter "s" it sounds like i am lisping, but only to me. all the sounds i make moving around, like clothes rustling etc, sound like they're on the radio. and when things get really quiet, i can hear a sort of whispery high white noise -- not continuous but with at least one random modulation, like a lfo set to random.
i don't think it's permanent.
other news:
i get the feeling our friend mg is leaving the country very soon, because she has been led to believe she will be illegal here in a few days.
and:
pani brought me the long-sought biography of john eijlders that i was asking for. it took her less than 24 hours to find it.
pani goes to budapest in a couple hours from now, with vl, for research on a film he wants to make about the csango people.
i am going to eat something.
