wilders gets famous
yesterday geert wilders got intercepted at heathrow with a couple dozen travelling cameramen and reporters, and sent back to amsterdam on the next flight. so he wins attention. the incident was covered by british news and of course the dutch, maybe others too.
today i took some time and worked on the forms for ctc web site updates — not done yet, but made some progress. also wrote to ask how ctc wants to move the new site to replace the existing one, etc.
the difficulty is that there are three areas in the script where the content gets processed — on the initial read-in, on the parse to the update form, and on the re-concatenation after the form is sent. and for some reason it's hard to make sure it's happening the same way on each. a lot of it seems to have to do with how the thing interprets line feeds. sometimes i end up with mysterious extra line breaks in the text file, or even spurious extra spaces before paragraphs.
