a gravestone moves 1 meter in friesland
i saw a short article in nu.nl about a "self-moving" gravestone near a church in the fries village of aalsum. people were reporting what they thought was grave desecration, so police set up a security camera to catch the perpetrators, only to find that the perp was the stone itself. police said the camera showed the gravestone moving on its own by about one meter in a few seconds. nobody can figure out why the gravestone is moving. a stonecutter suggested maybe "a thick muskrat" was at fault.
