a plane crashed near the a9
this morning a turkish airlines plane crashed near the a9 short of the polderbaan at schiphol. i spent a couple hours watching the news trickle in on three channels, ned 1, rtl 9 and cnn. weird, it happened a few km to the left of jon's house.
this evening i went to nachtwacht with marina and djox, was sposed to meet lisa too but she missed. while we were outside smoking we found hg cycling by, he came in and had a drink with us. after dinner we went to "de duivel" on reguliersdwarsstraat near vijzelgracht. nice place, good music inside. "i like the redness", marina commented on the interior and the lighting. from there we walked to the cave, met chico and irmo and eugenio and whatsisname the lead singer from dark rain.
tonight i'm listening to an internet radio show radio23.org with lots of smooth ambient stuff, apparently hosted by martin petrov, just closing their broadcast now.
chico came home with us, marina gave him some sausage and some rakia and some cyrene cheese. he lives not far from here, near mercatorpl, so he can walk home ok. i think i will go to sleep.
next week olia tchalakova is coming to ams for a visit. i told her to let me know if she runs out of sofa.
