why still here
argument: pacifism would only work in a society where everyone is a devout pacifist, otherwise you will all be killed off.
counterargument: then why are we still here?
pacifists have been wiped out thousands of times, i contended in tonight's discussion. that we keep rising from the dead must mean something. something about the survivability of our point of view.
despite what we see on the news: most behavior is peaceful. pacifism is dead normal. people do it without ever knowing it.
