wish i could do something like tac again
tonight i was wishing i could start another little online magazine, like "the allston chronicle" that my friends and i worked on back in 2001-2002. i think we only published 13 monthly issues, and it wasn't all that much in terms of content, but its heart was in the right place. that was very neighborhood oriented in name at least. if i did something now i would try to make it more designed and beautiful and shocking, and maybe more filled with thoughts.
i consider still the idea of naming the periodical in connection with the place where i live. i dunno if that's a smart idea. i mean, lots of people who don't live in new york do read "the new yorker" and "the new york times". but i dunno. remember why i stopped publishing the allston chronicle? it was because i was leaving allston and moving to amsterdam. also, the contributors in this case would be in different parts of the world.
