watched a film by theo van gogh
ajw sent me a dvd of a film by theo van gogh called "cool" from 2004. as i was watching it, i thought it must be one of van gogh's early movies, because it seemed like it was trying hard to be prosocial and messagy, and because it made hiphop seem like they'd just discovered it yesterday, and also because katja schuurman looked so young in the film. i was surprised to realize this was one of the last films of the outspoken one.
the mice are back in my ceiling! i think there are two. today i went to cut a piece of the bread marina got yesterday, and i found two mouse holes in it. from my perspective they were small holes, but for a mouse that's a lot of bread to eat in one night. i had to check to make sure they weren't still inside the bread before i started slicing off a chunk.
as for my entry from last monday: i decided to take two hits off a not very strong joint of my friend, just to remind myself what happens to me when i smoke weed. almost immediately i started having all kinds of insights that seemed extraordinarily perceptive at the moment. but i had to keep asking marina "why am i talking about this?" and she would remind me of what i had started out talking about one minute earlier, so i could finish making my point. whatever i was thinking while i stood by the breadbox didn't make it downstairs as far as the computer keyboard. but i'm kinda glad i recorded my enhanced stupidity, and even more glad that it had waned to a normal level of stupidity by the next day.
today i had to go do some documentary filming for project "ootb", at crea 2. that was kinda fun, but when i got home i was not feeling so good, so i stayed home tonight. now i have a craving for thai food, a bit late dus.
