getting a guest
yesterday we got quite a bit of stuff i needed for my apt.
it turns out bill and joanne are going to stay with the hotel instead of at my apartment, which may indeed make their stay in ams a little more fun if they're in the center.
so this afternoon i invited the brilliant singer-songwriter amy garcia to stay with me for a while. hitherto ms garcia has been bouncing around between precarious living situations in the homes of drug abusers and other crazies. so we're thinking it will be emotionally better for everybody -- her, me and dvr alike -- if she is here for awhile instead of wherever else. jk seems to think it's okay.
with some voorwaarden of course. we've made a pact that while she's here my house will remain ianko-free. and i promised to tell her if she annoys me.
then if my beloved comes to visit me in july, i'll be living in a two-amy household. at least now i have enough mattresses and stuff.
