qualifies as betutteling
at5 story 16 sep. a guy named flip filz has a tiny rowboat tied up somewhere on the westerdok, and pays a license fee to keep it there. because he put two potted plants in the boat, he now faces a 5000 eur fine.
it's not about what kind of plants he keeps there (to me they look like bamboo). and it's not that his boat is in anyone's way.
for amsterdam's waterway control department, a boot with plants sitting in it is not being used as a proper boat, ie for transportation. therefore his boat is suddenly illegal. if he doesn't remove it in two weeks he's sposed to pay 5000.
flip doesn't want to comply, he thinks it's ridiculous. he looks like a nice guy too.
