accident outside our house
on the evening of 23 october i was drawn to the front balcony by lots of sirens, and saw two ambulances, a police car, and a man lying on the street who was badly hurt. at5 camera showed up, the next day's report at about 6:21 min explains why i didn't hear any squealing brakes or crashes before the sirens: a 49 year old man was cycling drunk, and fell off his bike and hit his head on one of the parked cars across the street from us.
