stabbings in halvemaansteeg
at5: early sunday outside an afterparty at "crazy club" (just off rembrandtplein), some people got into a quarrel and some of them ended up stabbing four others. the perpetrators escaped in a taxi, but the taxi driver ditched his cab as soon as he knew something was wrong. so the perps drove off with the taxi, but were apprehended by police in the hobbemakade. they tried to run but the cops shot at them. the victims of the stabbing are hospitalized but out of mortal danger.
also: parool reports that as many as 200 taxi drivers are going around with phony "TCA" lights on top. the counterfeit signs help them get passengers who prefer to ride with the TCA. TCA is kinda upset about it.
