big explosions in ulyanovsk
a weapons depot in the russian city of ulyanovsk blew up a couple days ago. there were spectacular pictures of bright big explosions on tv. forty-five people were injured and two are missing presumed dead.
last night garcia played at a bar called "schaper café" off of hugo de grootplein. she had lots of adversity making it happen, but managed to pull it off. i wasn't impressed with the bass player, he just couldn't seem to grasp how the songs go.
