keizer en georg
on tuesday i wrote music for and edited and composited the first spot from ptm2. that evening there was a small, rather tense dinner party downstairs. wednesday i started to write a script for a film for moonaddict. lots of building work happened in the apt, plumbing got done, i believe they even poured some concrete. i slept through it. wednesday evening, g was making burritos downstairs, so i joined them for one. then keizer and georg showed up in town, visiting for xmas. i took them to dinner at bangkok. fortunately they thought the food was okay there. then we visited mulligan's for two pints and met up with jk, then took a taxi home together and sat around talking for a while. georg is an extraordinary thinker and makes some of the most hilariously clever observations. there needs to be an article about him in mental shoes.
speaking of which: we're not quite sure what the hell is gonna be in mental shoes for january. everyone has been quite busy, including me, so i'm gonna have to suck a lot of content out of my thumb at the last minute -- once i get these little movie projects finished.
patrzalka the cat is getting comfortable enough with me that she doesn't mind climbing all over me to wake me up when she's hungry. i think she's supposed to be staying here until the 29th of december.
today is christmas eve. it's quiet. i want to finish the second ptm2 spot today.
