shower is in
google announced that it would stop filtering and censoring its service in china, after hackers suspected of working for china disrupted gmail accounts of political dissidents there.
the new shower in my apartment is installed. i haven't tried it yet. i think jk wants a couple more things done before that klus is af.
a new problem is that sometime tuesday afternoon our stairway lights died. jasper and marco had no idea how that could happen, because they weren't working near that wiring. but i think jk assumes they caused this.
the pile-driving for the new building around the corner from us has just begun again, i guess they took a few weeks off for the holidays. lovely.
i still have no feedback about the recuts of ptm2 which i delivered on monday. i thought they had to go on line tomorrow.
today pani ani leaves for tokyo for four months. she came to dinner last night at jk.
i was expecting a big emotional national event upon the death of miep gies, like some kind of funeral service that tens of thousands of people would attend. wrong. there are various news stories about her death, but they don't tell you anything but her biography. which of course i already know, and i thought everybody else knew it too. i've sen nothing about how the netherlands is planning to celebrate her memory.
