talked about movies with djox and tommy
i went to the cave tonight and hung out with djox and tommy, and we talked about movies, and we started making lists of movies we want to see either for the first time or the nth time. tommy works as a chef at a restaurant called sogno from tuesday till saturday. tonight he brought in a special hamburger he'd made for chicha. i made a plan to go back to tong ah on friday at six cuz then wendy is off and she wants to eat the rijsttafel there. also mr wong was encouraging me to bring people there to try it.
but also we have to worry about sunday, cuz that's sirny zagovezdy / valentine's day / chinese new year. marina says maybe we should go out that day after all, cuz she may not have time nor resources to prepare a celebration at home. we just need some cheese, maybe we can eat cheese for breakfast that day.

we also came up with a reasonably solid idea for a reality tv / cooking show: it's called "chef's choice". you go to the restaurant and get your meal for free, but the chef decides everything to do with your meal -- including your dinner guest. i accused tommy of having come up with this brilliant idea, and he accused me of it.
