people speak language, not html
i was just thinking:
i appreciate the links people send me to interesting things on the web. i don't appreciate when you ask someone a question and they answer it with a link. computers speak html to each other. people speak human language.
sometimes people lack the time or the inclination to communicate a direct answer, so they've started posting hyperlinks in answer to human questions. what should happen instead, is that if people lack the time or inclination to communicate, they should not bother.
