rebrand the brand
i want to write an article called "rebrand the brand". brands used to be identifiers, like, i made this, and you trust me. good housekeeping seal of approval is also a brand. brand is trustworthy identity related to quality, not just an idea or a feeling. if brands were brands, we would need a lot fewer inspectors.
news says cohen is probably leaving amsterdam to be lijsttrekker for pvda in den haag, because wouter bos wants out of politics. too bad, i liked him. but now i wonder how do we get a new mayor for amsterdam. cohen is the only one i've known since i moved here.
yesterday was the first day for the new gemeenteraad, saw a quick speech by nelly frijda.
