iceland's volcano sprays ash over europe
yesterday a volcanic eruption in iceland sent so much ash into the sky that air traffic was shut down all over europe by 19.00, for fear of damaging the engines of airplanes. flights from everywhere else in the world got cancelled too, so people all over the place are kinda stranded. nicole said when she went to buy a ticket at centraal station's international rail office, the place was jammed with desperate travellers.
yesterday's sunset was kinda rosy purply. it's been mostly sunny today, i can't see any ashes in the sky. the air did smell a little sulphuric to me, but nicole says that's the wind from a trash processing plant in sloterdijk.
this evening i am going to see n fly.
