christian anarchists, oppenheimer, a dream of painting
overnight i was reading about people like dorothy day and ammon hennacy, who were considered 'christian anarchists'. dorothy day published a newspaper, was a card-carrying member of the IWW, and started an organization called 'catholic worker' which is still around, and runs little farms and homes around the world. they even have a house in amsterdam zuid-oost, where they house and assist migrants who are 'undocumented' or 'illegalized'.
i read so much i got wicked tired, i fell asleep while watching a documentary about robert oppenheimer 'the day after trinity'. i need to watch the rest of that film, it was interesting.
i had a dream that i actually was painting again, but then one of my neighbors said they had to take away some of my brushes. i was checking which brushes i'd have left, and whether i could still do what i wanted. i remember expressing gratitude for being allowed to paint.
woke up at around 18.00 to the pleasant aroma of cooking italian food. turns out nicole was baking something experimental.
