walking to de aker
i got home about ten minutes ago to vätternkade 40, having walked home from leidseplein [note 2007 -- after a stupid quarrel with pani]. i think i left leidseplein around 330 am, after having waited to try and get a taxi but not being able to. it took me not quite two hours then to walk home from there, and it's now 534.

i did not feel like i wanted to follow her. to what, anyway? it was after 3 in the morning. our usual route would not have led anywhere. so i took a different route on my own.
arriving at leidseplein i tried in vain to get a taxi. then i decided to walk home. it took me a while. now i am home.
[note 2007 -- at some point i wrote an instrumental piece of music called "the length of lelylaan" remembering what it was like, how weirdly hypnotic it was, to walk all the way from mulligan's to osdorp/de aker, much of it along lelylaan]
