this afternoon was chaotic, way lotsa emails and phone calls and confusion. i went out to nachtwacht, to meet a couple of visitors bob and toby from austin tx i'd never seen before, plus amy and floris, and henryk, and djox. when i got there nadia told me about her uncle dying, how they found him on the sofa in a pose which buddhists use to indicate they need more air ... he had a burst aneurism in his aorta. the two auston guys turned out to be pretty cool, they are investigating maybe moving here with their families. one is a writer and firefighter. hg talked to me about project problems, he's trapped in a bidding war but they are getting close to giving him the gig. after dinner some of us went to the cave.
