nuon weirdness
today i managed to write myself in at the stadhuis, change my address data by the kvk, and order a nameplate for the front door bell. that will be ready on friday. also i dropped off that roll of film i had in my camera for about five months, which i just finished off sunday taking some photos of the inside of this flat and the view outside.
today happens to be ash wednesday. at about 1645 u there was an insistent random bell ringing from the z kerk, three different bells with different pitches, fading in and out, stronger, gentler, faster, slower. at five oclock straight up there began an urgent tolling of one deep throaty bell that went on for about 15 minutes. it was a cool sound so i got out the camera and tried to capture some of it via the microphone on tape.
i missed going to the herdenking at the dokwerker, sorry.
pani called to say she'll probably stay over in osdorp again. she is cleaning. going to the church service at the krijtberg at 1900 u.
the police report has arrived over the poging tot inbraak about the front door at vatternkade 40. i am supposed to mail a copy of it off to

i need to tell lgf & m what i borrowed from their flat. the latest voicemail (dating from saturday) gave me the go-ahead to take whatever i wanted from the flat, but too late, i had already moved out. i asked lgf if he would sell me the bed, and some kitchen ware, but he didn't want to. and then he did. but it was after i'd moved.
there's something weird with the nuon utilities. donovan from all-round housing said he would sign me up with nuon as the new renter of this flat. someone has done that, twice, with different spellings of my name. i was written in first as s collins, then as s gillen kollens. about three days apart it looks like. under my name with the correct spelling i have received an "eind afrekening." i wonder if two different people tried to write me in.
once i have a phone (tomorrow) i'll be able to call them about it. you can't call these service numbers from a mobile, it seems.
