bought a new computer.
i was talking with dvr today about what computer might be wisest to buy right now, and how fast could i get it, because i am indeed in the middle of production right now and could use something a bit more powerful. that discussion turned into 'the apple shop is open today, let's go.' so now the thing is sitting on my coffee table. i need to clone this system disk to that one before i can use it. otherwise it could take days to re-install everything and set all my preferences anew.
