friend: i hope you get shot
i just commented on a post from someone who friended me on facebook, and who obviously thinks it's not offensive to post patriotic poems there:
'hi donna, when you say something like 'if you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them,' it sounds like you want me (long time devout pacifist and antinationalist) to get shot by some soldiers.
'is that what you really want for me?
'if so, it kinda makes me wonder why you wanted to friend up with me on facebook. i mean, most people who friend me don't come along and say 'i hope you get shot'.'
